There is a line, don't cross it. Drama is fine with us, even welcomed; it's great for character development and interaction and we know it's inevitable. However, crossing this line | is not permitted, and will not be tolerated.
application requirements.
In order to apply you need to provide us with either links to/or an example journal that include at least one journal & two completed scenes as well as an up-to-date Friends Only post. A first entry may be used in place of a journal example. Your examples do not have to be related to the celeb you are applying with or celeb rping soley as well. Please be aware, however, that we are using these examples to gauge your roleplaying abilities. Usernames should relate to the celebrities first and/or last names, excluding any numbers, or excess letters. Also keep this in mind for AIM as the same rules apply.
**ALL EXAMPLES are to be dropboxed not included in your application. This is to respect all of the players wishes to remain anonymous.**
activity/updates.
Once accepted into ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) celebskin we require a substantial update at the end of each month. This of course does not mean that we expect a novel but something to show us that you are active, and not just posting to get by. Placeholders are acceptable but are only good for one week from the day they are posted by the player. The use of a placeholder's consecutively is not allowed and if we see this happening, the player will be warned. On a case to case basis this may result in removal as well.
removals.
Activity checks will be done at the end of each month on the 25th, we will not post removal warnings prior to removals. It will be up to you as a player to know whether or not you need to update. New players accepted after the first week of the month will be exempt from that month's activity/removal check. Removals will always occur at 11pm Eastern so that there is no confusion as to the amount of time a player has to update.
*Hiatuses are granted for 1 month & if you have not returned by that time, will be up for that month's removal.*
character limit / etc.
Our current character limit is set at 3 per player. If we find that you are consistently neglecting a one in favor of others, you may be asked to relinquish the celebrity. The same goes for those who consistently squeak by during activity checks at the last minute.
At celebskin we accept all celebrities that willingly put themselves into the public eye. If they have a legit website, Wikipedia, IMDB & so on they are welcome here. This does not include Myspace kids or celebrity spouses unless they have their own career as well, but does include most 'Scene Queens/Kings so long as they have a legit claim to fame. We do NOT allow any Suicide Girls in game, all other alternative models however will be allowed. If you are still unsure by all means dropbox the Mods and just ask!
*ALL serious lines are to be dropboxed. This is simply to prevent an influx of unrealistic weddings/divorces. It is rare these things happen over night - even in Hollywood. Pregnancies must be played out a full 9 months. We can't stress enough to keep things to character and as realistic as possible.*
harassment.
We as Moderators hold the most respect for our players, this should also apply player-to-player. celebskin has a no tolerance policy on harassment. However we are only Mods and are not able to see everything, if harassment in any form occurs we will need to see physical proof [ie. screencaps, logs...]. We cannot make a decision just on hearsay alone, and refuse to do so. Given that, if an unfortunate event it should be expected that we will get in contact with all parties involved. This will happen in a discreet and mature manner. This way we have a clear understanding on what took place. After which the Moderator's will decide what steps should be taken next.
